A four-car BRC&W DMU in Bradford Exchange station. The centre cars are in rail blue, so this will be in the late 1960s. The number of the power car is given as E50545, which was allocated to Neville Hill from 1960 until withdrawal in 1981. Graham Clark.
With eight vehicles in view this is likely a nine-car Cross-Country formation. The first two sets are of the GRC&W variety, the rear set - with less roof vents - was Swindon built. DMSL W51092 leads the train into (or through) Braford Peverell and Stratton Halt on 18 August 1963, a station on the former Wiltshire, Somerset & Weymouth Railway which closed in October 1965.
