12th May 1979

A two-car Met-Camm DMU in Cockshute depot on 12 May 1979 alongside some Class 25s, 042 closest. Brian Daniels.

19th April 1980

The much lamented Swindon Class 120's used to work the Crewe - Derby services in the late '70's and early 1980's - here one such unit has just departed Stoke-on-Trent at Cockshute on its way to Crewe on the 19th April 1980. They were usurped by new Sprinter Class 150's in 1986. Paul Bettany.

April 1984

The blind on 51184 says that the set is heading for Crewe. Taken at Cockshute, Stoke, in April 1984, presumably with long-term partner 54342. Ian Francis.

Unknown Date

55994 seen at Cockshute, the unit is on the Up Main heading into Stoke. (Cockshute sidings would be behind the unit, with the old carriage sidings behind the photographer). Ian Francis.
