On Saturday 14 July 1973 at 09:05 a Metro-Cammell 3-car dmu approaches Copley with what is probably [2E92] the 08:10 Manchester Victoria-Leeds. Mr Deltic.

Saturday 14 July 1973 at 09:10 and a BRCW Class 110 'Calder Valley' dmu is at the front of four units at Copley. My notes from the time said this was a Halifax Wakes Week additional service to Cleethorpes from Hebden Bridge. Neither the headcode, nor the destination blind are correct if this is the case. Saturday 14 July 1973 at 08:52. Although the destination blind says 'Blackpool', this Derby 2-car dmu passing Copley is more likely to be working [2M92] the 08:10 Leeds-Manchester Victoria. It was unusual to see one of these units up the Calder Valley. Mr Deltic.
