A six-car Swindon Inter-City formation near Dalry Road (Edinburgh) on February 19, 1965. It is formed of two three-car sets, rather than the two power car / two centre car / two power car arrangement of the six-car sets on the Edinburgh - Glasgow services. The second vehicle appears to be in a darker green, and only one vehicle carries a coaching crest, possibly an ex-WR vehicle. George Bett.
Taken from the signalbox, two Class 126s are seen in one of the Dalry station slow line platforms in June 1982. The slide recorded it as a Glasgow - Ayr service, but it could have been a Dalry-Largs “Shuttle”. Stuart Mackay Collection.
