One of the Class 115 "express" CLC services is seen leaving Liverpool Central in early 1964. These stopped only at Widnes North and Warrington Central on the journey to Manchester Central. David Faircloth.
A GRC&W DMU on the newly inaugurated Liverpool (Central)-Warrington (Central) diesel service which began on 6th January 1958. Brunswick depot had nine of these sets from January 1958, they all moved to Ryecroft that June. Driver E. Harold is at the controls and on the platform are Messrs F. Walton, DOC Liverpool Central, A.M. Todd, DMPS Bank Hall, C.S. Longsdale, DMPS Edge Hill, G.V. Davies, SM Liverpool Central, MGE Lambert, Divisional Traffic Manager, and T.C. Byron, DPM.
