Widened Lines trains at Moorgate station on 23 February 23 1971. On the left is a Class 31 loco on a train of BR standard non-corridor carriages, and on the right a Cravens dmu. Both will depart for the Great Northern line, via the Hotel Curve and platform 16 at King's Cross. Tom Burnham.

Moorgate station, Monday 22 September 1975 at 16:39. Brush Class 31 No 31174 after arriving with [5B51] the 16:14 from Finsbury Park empty stock working. Alongside is a Cravens 2-car dmu which is ready to leave as [2B73] the 16:40 to Hertford North. Mr Deltic.

The flourescent lighting in Moorgate (London Transport) station provides green tinged light as this 2-car Class 105 DMU sits having terminated with the last Great Northern arrival via King's Cross and the Widened Lines, the 0825 from Hertford North, 06/11/1976. Graeme Phillips Collection.
