This slide was simply noted as 'between Newcastle Emlyn and Llanyssul'. It is believed to be the Warwickshire Railway Society Central Wales railtour on 17 November 1968, taken on board Swindon Cross-Country 50722 (in green) looking towards a three-car Met-Camm unit (both power cars with BR logos on the cab doors). Two Class 116 DMUs with a railtour at Newcastle Emlyn. This is thought to be the Wirral Railway Circle 'Heart of Wales Land Cruise' that ran on 9 December 1972. Doug Nicholls.

The Branch Line Society/Wirral Railway Circle Milk Branches Railtour at Newcastle Emlyn on 12 September 1970. Formed of a Swindon Cross-Country DMU, the power cars were W50732 and W50694, the centre car is presumably W59279. Stuart Mackay Collection.
