A five car Class 104 rake at Ribblehead 22nd June 1983. The train's destination was Blea Moor signal box to deliver water to the signalmen. Unusually the TBSL in the three-car set is carrying the BR arrows logo on the van side. Robert Forsythe.

Set: 101343

A two-car Met-Camm DMU, set 101343 (presumably 51529 + 51795) seen at Ribblehead in March 1989. The vehicles had been transferred from Eastfield to Neville Hill in December 1985 but still carried their Scottish set number. They would move to Cardiff a few weeks after this photo with the start of the summer timetable, no doubt cascaded by more modern units. George Woods.
