A Derby Heavyweight class 114 dmu stands on the freight only line, where the remains of Shirebrook station is, with one of the Shirebrook-Worksop Open Day shuttles on 5th June 1987. This line reopened to passengers as a through route again between Nottingham and Worksop in 1998 and is branded as the Robin Hood Line. Andrew J Crowther.

This line that the train is on reopened to passengers as a through route again between Nottingham and Worksop in 1998 and is branded as the Robin Hood Line, the line off to the right lead eventually to High Marnham Power station, as well as serving the many many collieries on the way, which have now all gone.
