Slaggyford Halt, on the Haltwhistle-Alton line in the evening of 4/10/73, with a 2-car DMU arriving. This line closed in May 1976 but a narrow-gauge railway, the South Tynedale Railway, now runs along part of the branch. David Christie.
On the afternoon of 27 June 1968 a Met-Camm DTC / GRC&W DMBS hybrid set (both with window bars on the passenger doors) is seen at Slaggyford on the Alston branch. Michael Mensing.
