51393 with 59503 + 51351 at Trethomas (Bedwas branch) on The Dockland Dawdler railtour, organised by the Monmouthshire Railway Society, on 27/10/84. The station here closed at the end of 1962. Chris Lings.

8th April 1978

Vehicle: 50721   Set: C507

The Monmouthshire Railway Society ran their "Tintern Thunderbolt" railtour on 8 April 1978 using Cardiff-based Swindon cross-country set C507 and a Tyseley class 118 3-car set. Class 120 car W50721 is nearest the camera at the site of Trethomas station, but I have no record of the number of the class 08. Jeremy Chapter.
