Inside the Wickham of Ware factory circa 1957. Two DMU vehicles can be seen in the rotary manipulators that allowed easier access for welding. Some foreign railcars are at the rear, trolleys on both sides, and in the foreground some of the components (vacuum cylinders and dynamos) may be destined for the British Railways DMUs.
