A Park Royal railbus at Kilmarnock probably on an Ayr service circa 1964/5. The headlamp above the blind shows it's one of the two original ScR vehicles 0 or 4. They differed in the yellow panel era - 79974 had the corresponding part of the headcode panel painted yellow (this one), on the other vehicle it remained green. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Railbuses SC79974 and SC79968 on Ayr depot circa mid-late 1966. The Park Royal was not withdrawn until November that year, but had sat out of use since at least May. On the right is Crab 42863. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Park Royal railbus SC79974 at Eastfield in the company of NBL shunters D2759 and D2768 and another unidentified one on the right. Date unknown, it was never allocated to the depot but it did end up there after withdrawal where it lingered and deteriorated for several years before disposal. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Park Royal railbus SC79974 facing an AC Cars railbus. The only details with the negative were 'Glasgow', and this is presumably Eastfield depot where the vehicle languished for a few years after withdrawal in 1966. Stuart Mackay Collection.
