1. Programme of Diesel Multiple
Unit Operation
(a) Employment of vehicles available in
1959
The Chairman stated that a report had now been prepared
on the proposed use of 224 diesel multiple unit vehicles available
for service in 1959 before schemes for their use were developed and
for which maintenance and fuelling facilities had not been
approved.
The report recommends the use of the 224 vehicles in the
areas given below with maintenance and/or fuelling facilities as
shown :-
