_______________________________
Agreed.
The Chairman stated that before dealing with the posiion of schemes still to be submitted he wished to draw attention to the fact that money available to the Commission for investment in 1962 will probably be less than in 1961, and that, as a result of the curtailment of work following the overspending in the early part of this year, there was likely to be a considerable carryover from 1961.
As the majority of those diesel multiple unit schemes having reasonable net revenue prospect had now been authorised, it was for consideration whether there was justification for submitting further schemes at the present time, and if so which schemes should be given priority.
It was agreed the Manchester Part 4 scheme submitted for authorisation should proceed and the remaining order of priority to be :-
1. St.Pancras - Leicester/Nottingham
2. Chester - Rhyl - Llandudno
