Headcodes

Western Region

The staff Working Timetables (WTTs) give details of the headcodes to be displayed, each volume having a summary in the introduction, with the actual headcode for each individual train given in the tables themselves.

Below are some examples, with the cover, the map of the area covered, and the pages with the headcode summaries being shown.

12th September, 1960 to 11th June, 1961

Section H: Birmingham District

The majority of these services were operated by the Derby suburban triples, which had the four lamp arrangement and no headcode.
