Not quite as Metro Cammell 101 365 (53239 + 59053 + 53245) has brought invited guests into town as part of a publicity event for the forthcoming reopening of the Edinburgh - Bathgate line. Looking east as the Set stands in the goods yard used for motor car distribution traffic. The lifted Airdrie - Bathgate line is behind the track panels stacked to the far right. 18th April 1990

A hybrid cl.101/110 set, with 51180 leading 59701 and 53245 (the last being ex- ScR set 101 365), departs from Brough on the 17.11 to Hull on 18/4/90. This service was mainly for the benefit of homegoing workers from the adjacent BAe aircraft factory. Leonard Rogers.
