108 Set CH278 (presumably 53968 + 54251) departs Rhyl (18XX) Wednesday 31st August 1988. Colin Brooks.

Having arrived at Preston at the rear of a four-car service from Barrow-in-Furness, Class 108 set CH278 formed of cars M53983 & M54266 were stood at the North end of platform 5 on the late afternoon of January 6th 1990. The set was withdrawn from Longsight Depot in July 1991 and subsequently scrapped by Mayer Newman at Snailwell. Martyn Hilbert.
