A hybrid Class 104 and 117 DMU at Didcot on 20 September 1987. 53477 leads, the other two are presumably 59488 and 51408. Andrew Malloy.

In July 1990 Class 104 set L704 halts at Harringay Stadium. This was probably the lowest point of the service on this line, a far cry from today's 15 min service and soon to be electrified and extended at the Barking end! Ian Buck.
