The Manchester Reunion Railway Society "Hyde and Peak" railtour at United Football Ground Halt on 13 November 1982. It was formed of a Class 108 DMU, M51571 closest. Robert Thomas.
Class 108 DMS 51571 appears to be standing in for a Class 115 power car as part of set L850 when seen at Aylesbury on April 2, 1990. John Carter.
L704 was a Class 108/104 hybrid (presumably 51571 + 53477) when seen arriving into Gospel Oak station in 1991. John Law.
51924 and 51571 are the only passenger vehicles visible in Liverpool Lime Street on 25/8/80. To the left is 86 237 and on the right 08 887. Chris Lings.
A Class 108 2-car dmu, comprising vehicles 51916 + 51571 at Kettering to form a service for Corby (despite what s showing in the destination panel!) on 18 August 1987. As this was a south-facing bay at Kettering I assume the unit will shunt to one of the main line platforms before heading to Corby. Lewis Bevan.
L704 was a Class 104/108 hybrid set (53477 presumably with 51571) when seen at Gospel Oak station in 1991. John Law.
53477 (and presumably 51571) at Gospel Oak with the 16:15 to Barking, 11/10/91. Pictured is Mark Fletcher, the other half of the "Poly of Wales roadshow". Gazza Prescott.
53455 with 51571, as L730 at Greenford on the 09:56 to Ealing Broadway, 17/4/92. Gazza Prescott.
