DMU set S950 in this image has two DMBSs, Class 108 53926 closest and Class 101 53319 at the far end. The Class 108 centre car is presumed to be 59381. They are departing Swansea empty as coaching stock on 17 June 1989. Robert Thomas.

Class 108/101 hybrid set S950 (presumably 53926 + 59381 + 53319) passes the signal box as it arrives at Whitland on Wednesday 16th August 1989 with the 1051 Swansea - Pembroke Dock service. Colin Brooks.

The 10:51 Swansea - Pembroke Dock service heads away from Whitland on August 16, 1989 past a mixture of Colour lights and lower quadrant Semaphores signals. It is formed of set S950 (presumably 53319 + 59381 + 53926). Colin Brooks.
1st March 1990
Class 108 DMU set S950 (presumably 53926 + 52061) leaves Craven Arms Station about 13.15 on the 1st March 1990 working the 09.48 Swansea to Crewe. In the distance S939 is arriving with the 12.52 Shrewsbury to Swansea, both via the Central Wales route. Notice the massive former shed on the left. I am informed during the Second World War many freights to and from South Wales used the Marshes route to avoid the heavily bombed Birmingham. Probably the depot was often well stocked with the locos during this period! Dave Gommersall.
