The Bank Holiday Monday on 2 May 1994 saw some Birmingham to Stratford-upon-Avon trains formed of DMMUs rather than the usual class 150 sprinters. Here is a mixed formation of two power triples led by T351 (presumably 53921 at the front) and a Network South East liveried set (the rear vehicle labelled as L713, presumably 51391) approaching at Bishopton. Peter Tandy.
On 2 May 1994 T351 (presumably 53921 at the front) leads L713 about to pass under Edstone Aqueduct, the longest cast-iron structure of its type in England. This location is just to the north of Bearley. Peter Tandy.
In the centre road at Worcester Shrub Hill is DMU set T351 with vehicles 53921 + 51880 + 53132. They are behind 47484 which would haul the set with steam loco 5029 on the other end on a return move to Henwick as part of the Worcester Open Day on 22 May 1994. Dave Gommersall.
Crossing the River Severn in Worcester is DMU set T351 with vehicles 53921 + 51880 + 53132. It is being hauled by 47484 with steam loco 5029 on the other end, on a return move to Henwick as part of the Worcester Open Day on 22 May 1994. Dave Gommersall.
Do you have any images of the set you can add?
