47431 arrives at Doncaster with the Derby Laboratory Coach set on 21st May 1988. The unit being hauled are ex-Class 103 vehicles, 56162 and 50407, renumbered RDB975090 + RDB975089. It was a "Laboratory 5 TRIM Unit" and was used for measuring ride quality. Syd Young.
