BR (Derby) Suburban 3-car dmu (Class 116) No.C323 (50843 and presaumably 59355 + 50896) in BR Rail Blue with all yellow front end, leaving Cardiff (Central) with a Penarth - Rhymney service, 05/75. Hugh Llewelyn.
Freshly painted W50843 in Cardiff Central with a Valleys service on 18 September 1976. It has a refurbished date of 27 August but its centre car 59355 was not completed till 10 September which is probably why it still looks so fresh. Robert Thomas.
