A tidy looking two-car Park Royal Class 103 DMU was coupled to a Class 108, stood at Crewe with a service to Chester on May 19th 1981. The leading car is Driving Trailer Composite Lavatory (DTCL) M56155, complete with its first class saloon with orange curtains. Martyn Hilbert.

A sorry-looking and heavily stripped Park Royal Class 103 Driving Trailer Composite Lavatory, car number M56153, was awaiting disposal at Chester depot on August 21st 1977. The car had been in a collision with a fallen tree on the Conway Valley line in January 1976 which had sealed its fate. 56155 is on the left. Martyn Hilbert.
