Class 116 DMU set 143 in East Kilbride station on 31 May 1972. Preparations are under way for its return to Glasgow Central: the driver seems to be coming out of the far cab, the guard stops by his van as he moves the tail lamp from one end to the other, and someone carries the token towards the nearest cab. SC50818 was recorded as the closest vehicle, the others are presumably 59326 + 50871. Stuart Mackay Collection.
