Met camm lightweight at Wroxham

E79047 at the front of a service headed for Norwich at Wroxham on the Norwich to Cromer line, date unknown. It is an early version of rail blue livery (3" numbers and the BR logo on the cab door), paired with a DTC in green, as is the power car in the second set. The leading Brush loco on the left is noted as D5569, this train is coming off the former line to County School, by this time used to access the concrete works at Lenwade. DB975018 & DB975019 passing Dunford East with "Plazma Torch Train" 5G43 0543 Tinsley to Dunford West 29th June 1971. Under the rear bogie of the leading coach a flame can be seen burning onto the railhead to clean it and improve traction. Keith Long.
