A Class 122, taken at 5pm one February evening at Bristol Temple Meads. The year supplied with the image was 1973, but given the livery it will be a few years earlier. The station signage on the right is in the post-1965 style (black rail alphabet text on white). For most of the late 1960s Bristol had just 55013 allocated, and the low position of the flash in the cab window matches other images of the vehicle from that period, so it is presumed to be that vehicle. It would move to Scotland in Spring 1968. Adrian Vaughan.
Three GRC&W Bubble Cars in Kilmarnock station, circa 1968/9. The nearest 55013 is still in green, the middle vehicle 55000 is in the early blue livery with small yellow panel, the furthest 55011 is in blue with full yellow ends. Stuart Rankin.
Class 131 parcel unit Sc55013 attached to the rear of a three-car Met-Camm unit at Kirkcaldy in May 1971. You don't often see shots taken looking in this direction. Most people photographed looking north with the bay platform behind the DMU or towards the signal box. My father came from Kirkcaldy so as a wee boy I was always dragged over from Edinburgh on Saturday mornings to see my gran and let-loose to visit the station. I have a full set of signs from here in my railwayana collection - a totem, a cast iron seatback, a directional sign with a left pointing arrow and the signal box name board. Alistair Ness.

GRC&W vehicles on Haymarket depot in June 1972. The Class 122 "bubble" is one of the three parcel vehicles (55013/4/5) - note the lack of door handles on the former passenger doors and the double doors in the center. A Class 100 is on the left. Alistair Ness.
