WOS (Workshop Overhaul Schedule)
These defined the work to be undertake at the main works overhauls (C1, C2, C3, C4 etc). They were large blue ring binders, the pages inside being foolscap size.
They listed the work that should be done, rather than how to do it.
As far as I can tell there were five of these:
- Engines: AEC/Leyland 150/200 hp
- Engines: Rolls Royce 180/238 hp
- Ancillary Traction Equipment
- Gearboxes / Final Drives (including Cardan Shafts)
- Electrical Control System

Electrical Control System
Covers items such as Battery Isolation Switch (B.I.S.), air pressure switches, jumpers, throttle and gear controllers.
Ancillary Traction Equipment
Covers items such as radiators, air system, exhausts, throttle motors.
