A dmu service for Stratford-upon-Avon slows for the Danzey stop on 8 June 1985. Single-unit M55012 leads the formation. The group of onlookers on the Birmingham platform were awaiting (as was I) GWR 4-6-0 "Clun Castle" on a special train, but when this appeared the train was travelling "under caution" at about 15 mph (possibly because of the preceding dmu), and there was a complete lack of exhaust, leading to a rather lifeless picture. I think this one just about made up for it!
