A two-car Met-Camm set heads out of Haltwhistle station with the 12.30pm Newcastle - Carlisle service on June 27, 1968. Both vehicles have revised lining, the DMBS has window bars on the passenger doors, the DTC does not, suggesting the two vehicles have not always been paired together.
