From platform 8 on Doncaster station on 13th September 1980 there is a good view of the Plant, with a line of diesel multiple units are on the closest line (a 104 nearest) while a two car Class 114 sets off on the right. The station. opened in 1848, was joint Great Northern & Great Central Railways, then LNER who rebuilt it in 1938.
