A diesel multiple unit departing from Carnforth station on May 8th, 1976, with a Carlisle bound service via the Cumbrian Coast although it does show Barrow on the blind. The crowds were waiting for a railtour to Ravenglass to be pulled in by LNER Flying Scotsman & LNWR Hardwicke.
