Manchester Piccadilly on 25th May 1981. Platform 3 has a Hadfield 1500dc class 506 emu, with possibly a Park Royal built Class 103 dmu, platform 4 has a Cravens class 105 dmu, platform 5 holds a rake of MK1 locomotive hauled stock probably on a service from/to the Western Region, platform 6 was my regular platform as the Buxton trains left from here, as can be seen a Buxton allocated BRC&W Class 104 is in the platform. Recently repainted, it unusually has a BR logo on centre car M59141.
