About to pass Torside level crossing and box, a Hull Botanic Gardens (BG) based Swindon built class 124/123 hybrid dmu passes by with a Manchester Piccadilly-Hull Paragon service, heading towards Sheffield at 10.55 in dismal weather conditions on the freight only Woodhead route, on a Sunday diversion away from the Hope Valley route. 25th January 1981.
