A view along the then double track Ormskirk route on Farington Moss with a Class 104 on the 11.55 Ormskirk to Preston service on a warm May 11th 1981. The two-car DMU is running between the occupation crossings at Naptha Lane and Lodge Lane, the then full-height chimney at the former Moss's Cotton Mill in Lostock Hall is prominent in this flat landscape. Closest is DTSL M56176 working with DMBS M50535.
