A down Midland Pullman passing Bedford around 1964, a quad set (later Class 127) in the foreground; the coaling tower at 15D can be seen in the background. These Blue Pullmans ran between St Pancras and Manchester Central from 1960 until transferred to the Western Region in 1966.
