A Met-Camm DMU emerging from Mound Tunnel and entering Princes Street Gardens. Date unknown, the signalling shows it was prior to 1976. With 'Express' on the destination blind, window bars on the doors and no signs of passengers this appears to be a Newcastle unit heading empty to Haymarket for refuelling.
