The "Fife Coast Explorer" railtour at Cameron Bridge on August 29, 1987. The Branch Line Society operated this DMU charter using a 3-car class 101 + 3-car 107 DMU formation originating from Glasgow Central and is seen here at the closed station of Cameron Bridge on the Methil freight branch. The platforms were largely intact despite closure to passenger traffic on 6th October 1969 when the passenger services over the truncated East Fife line to Leven were withdrawn. The line was retained for freight use serving Scottish Grain Distillers at Cameron Bridge, Methil Power Station, Leven Coal Depot and Methil Docks.
