On Easter Monday 1979 (April 16th), the Branch Line Society ran its "Waterloo and Buchan" railtour from Aberdeen to Waterloo, Maud, Fraserburgh, Strichen and Ellon. Class 122 single railcar SC55007, marked as set 178, was used. It is seen at Aberdeen Waterloo.
