Mixed 105 376 Cravens / Derby Set coasts into Paisley Canal with a Kilmacolm - Glasgow Central working. An old notebook suggests this is Cravens DMBS E51493 + Derby TSL Sc59790 + Derby DMBS Sc52004. Passenger services would cease the following Saturday. A Paisley Canal - Glasgow service was resurrected in 1990 albeit from a new station on the Glasgow side of Causeyside Street, to the east. The land here to the west was sold off in due haste post closure and built over. Thus the realistic prospect of the Canal line being returned as a through route was stymied. Tuesday 04 January 1983.
