CRS 'China Clay Rambler' railtour at Bugle. 28/04/90. Standing a long way from London Paddington, 288 miles in fact according to the milepost. The Cornish Railway Society 'China Clay Rambler' railtour is seen at Bugle station for a photo stop after returning from St.Dennis Junction ballast tip towards Par. The train is on the Newquay passenger branch track but had traversed the last remnant of the Carbis Wharf branch at Bugle which was still usable from Goonbarrow to Molinnis Level Crossing just south of Bugle station on a parallel alignment to the passenger track. The last freight west of Bugle to Carbis Wharf having run on 25th August 1989 a year earlier.
