Class 105 DMU at Houston and Crosslee

Details

Last Days. An afternoon Glasgow Central - Kilmacolm service with mixed 105 376 (Class 105 / 107) is heading west from Houston and Crosslee. The train has passed under Sandholes Road and is heading towards the Lochermill Viaduct thence Bridge of Weir. An old notebook suggests this is probably Cravens DMBS E51493 + Derby TSL Sc59790 + Derby DMBS Sc52004 which was used on Kilmacolm services earlier that week on 04 January. The outskirts of Bridge of Weir are visible in the distance, above the train. It is still possible to travel along here - but on a bicycle on the National Cycle Network! Probably Friday 07 January 1983.
