Ayr Variety. Glasgow Central High Level with a motley DMU formation departing for the Ayrshire coast in lingering snow and slush. The leading triple at the far end includes two ex-Blackpool white stripe Class 104 Driving Cars sandwiching a Class 107 Trailer. The rear triple (closest) is DMBS E53207 and probably BRCW DMC M53510 + DTCL E54088. If anything, it shows the versatility of the Blue Square coupling code. Friday 27 January 1984.
