The Penrith to Keswick branch closed on the 6th of March 1972, and this was taken on the 4th of March. Its shows the 12.10 Penrith to Keswick service between Threlkeld and Low Brierly Halt. The 108s are believed to be M50962/56236 (far end) and M56244/50951 (closest), there is also a Met-Camm in the formation at the far end out of view on an SRPS railtour.
