A trio at Ardeer. The electrification masts are just waiting for the knitting as 101360 (presumably 53158 + 59074 being the first two vehicles) on a Glasgow Central to Ardrossan working (I think) passes 26031 and rather cleaner sister loco shunting ballast stock at Ardeer near Stevenston. The ICI Nobel Ardeer facility is off to right with one of the works shunters (poss Paxman 7825 of 1958) visible. Most of the site has now been cleared except for a small section operated by Chemring. 7th June 1986.
