Derby built Class 108 Driving Motor Brake Second M53934 was the filling in a BRCW Class 104 sandwich in platform 1 at Preston station on February 6th 1988. M53934 was coupled to Class 104 Driving Motor Second Lavatory (DMSL) M53501 awaiting departure to Blackpool South, whilst to the rear Class 104 DMSL M53507 was the leading car with a service to Blackpool North.
