A Derby Works image (negative 54/429) which shows brand new Derby Lightweight motor composite E79500. This rear view shows the folding gangways were were fitted to the West Riding and West Cumberland batches, the later versions had sliding doors. The water filler pipes were also for the engine coolant expansion tanks in the roof space.
