A clear view of Stratford-upon-Avon station from the Alcester Road bridge on 26 October 1985. On the left BX482 (53507 + 59195 + 53429) + BX495 (51943 + 59388 + 52058) are stood in the Cold Store Siding while on the right a 6 coach class 116 formation (each set containing Met-Camm centre cars) is about to depart from platform 2 on its journey to Birmingham Moor Street. The 104/108 would later shunt into P2 before making the long journey back to Manchester Piccadilly after the passengers had spent a chilly day in Stratford in the days before all-day opening!
