For a few days at the end of November it used to be possible in the right conditions to obtain this shot of the class 116 unit (this one with a Met-Camm centre car) forming the 08.20 Stratford-upon-Avon to Birmingham train as it was shunted from the arrival platform, P1, to P2 for departure. I recall 20 November 1986 as being particularly cold and didn't hang around for many minutes.
